What do you think about this training system? I know it's season 3 and I already used 2 training systems, but I like so much this system and the current system has some problems (there will be too many good players and a player trained for 4-5 seasons in future will be very cheap). - friendly matches and cup matches will be played in the same day (Wednesday) and a team can play a friendly only if isn't playing in the cup - during the week there will be 4 training sessions in the days when there aren't any matches (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) - you can train up to 8 players (every player what skill you want) - you can set what skill will train the rest of the players but they will improve a lot less then the 8 players which train individualy Day | Event | Percentage | Monday | Training session | 15% | Tuesday | Training session | 15% | Wednesday | Friendly/Cup match | 20% | Thursday | Training session | 15% | Friday | Training session | 15% | Saturday | League match | 20% | Sunday | Training update | - |
During the training update you will recieve a report from the coach and he will tell you who improved his skills. In order to recieve maximum training in a week, a player needs to play the 2 matches and not be injured during the training sessions. In order to get 20% from a match a player has to play all the 80 minutes. For each minute on the field he recieves 0.25% training. The potentials will disappear because there are a lot of variables and it will be anyway very hard to train a player at maximum.

Looks good , i like it because players that play more will train more But maybe some overall team training of 5 % per week for the rest of the players for every skill so they will not be completely without any training

Skip the 20% of the league matches and give 40% to the league matches.. It isn't always easy to arrange friendlies, you can improve this by making a league cup (friendly cup on wednesdays).

I think it will be better than the current training system... but do not change system to often ;D.
Sounds I don't undertand everything :
- For the 8 players, one can choose training for each player.. for the week, or for each training session, and for match ?
- The same skill is trained during match for all the other players or one has to choose for each of them ?
Proposal : I don't think players can improve more by playing 2 matchs a week... Why not something like this ? - Friendly match : 30% training - League/Cup match : 40% training \==> player take the max of the played match (40% or 30% but not the sum). It sounds more realistic to me.
I have another idea : training during match is not set according to manager desire but according to player position... more realistic, but I'm not sure it is better for the game. For the last point it can join grivita point of view. For instance : a hooker 40% match training can be divided this way : 50% strength, 25% handling, 15% stamina, 5% breakthrough, 5% tackling.

I'm back with my first previous proposal (40% or 30% but not the sum)... I think it's not so good, because it leads to make players playing once a week... your proposal (20% + 20%) leads to make best players play twice a week....
Then let's the manager have a real choice : - each minute before the 80th, the player receives 0,25% training - each minute between the 80th and the 120th, the player receives 0,20% training. - each minute after the 120th, the player receives 0,15% training
then for a position within 2 match a week, the manager can train :
- 1 player for 80min x 0,25% + 40min x 0,20% + 40 x 0,15% = 34%
or
- 2 players for 80min x 0,25% = 20% each
or (when replacement or hurt at the half-time) :
- 1 player for 80min x 0,25% + 40min x 0,20% = 28% - and 1 player for 40 x 0,25% = 10%
(this % can still be for the skill manager has chosen, or divided into usefull skills for the player position)

In order to understand this fully, I have some questions... You say that only 8 players will possible get full training... this is when they are selected and play every game. The others will improve a lot less... first question, define a lot... is it fixed number a day f.e. 10% making 60% (since sunday they don't train). Second question is regarding the current system to place this one... how much do they improve today on each training? we know it's set by age and potential, but f.e. a 17y.o. 100 potential guy improves the most each day, what is this in terms of % to 'pop'? This is so we can see if it slows down or not. Third question is related... you seem to go by % training... so age doesn't matter anymore and all will improve equally? Playing time means better training, I agree with that lol. Maybe you can search something like this... you start at 10% all 6 days... if league match is played then the ones that did play get from that day on 17,5% till the next match... on that day, if they play again, the 17.5 remains, but if they don't it drops back to 10%, and the player who did play gets 17.5. Basicly you have a team of players at 17.5% a whole week then (well 6 training days), and the rest on 10%... 6 days at 10% = 60% 6 days at 17.5% = 105%... oh crap a little off here:). an adjustment could be that the guy on 17.5% before the match and he doesn't play, that his % drops each day with 2.5% with an absolute minimum of 10% training. That way you can introduce the term 'motivation'... because they play, they train better, leave them on the bench and they train slower each day. Something like that:). % can be tweaked though, since I don't know what you mean with players that don't play will 'train' a lot less. ps: only read the sentence of % increasing with each minute they play .

I think it will be better than the current training system... but do not change system to often ;D. I know. This will be the last change for the training system. I promise! - For the 8 players, one can choose training for each player.. for the week, or for each training session, and for match ? The players will train the skill selected during the training update (Sunday). So ... the answer is for week. - The same skill is trained during match for all the other players or one has to choose for each of them ? The same skill. There will be a section in the training page called 'Rest of the team training'. You can select there one of the main skills to train the other players. I don't think players can improve more by playing 2 matchs a week... Why not something like this ? - Friendly match : 30% training - League/Cup match : 40% training \==> player take the max of the played match (40% or 30% but not the sum). It sounds more realistic to me. I think it is realistic that players recieve training from both games. If you play 2 rugby matches in a week you learn more then if you play only 1. But I will think at your propsal. I also don't think it's better for the game and make training very complicated. I want to give the oportunity for the users to train the players how they want. 2 different users will probably train different a kicker. One for example would train him kicking at the begining and then would improve his speed, handling. Other maybe would train speed, handling and then kicking.

In my opinion it is nonsense that other 7 players played a match other than 8 trained players get also a lot less training than 8 players. If a player is in 8 training slot and played 2 matches should get 120% training, if played 1 match gets 100% training. If a player is not in 8plys training slot but plays 2 matches should get 50% training, if he plays 1match he should get 30% training, if he doesnt play any match in that week he should get only 5-10% training. If a player is not injured he should get 5% training at least.

I don't want to change this percentage because if I do how you suggested it would be too complex.

This is so we can see if it slows down or not. I can only say that the new system won't affect the speed of training too much (it will slow it down a little because there won't be any potential). The main purpose of this system is to lower the number of players who can be trained so the value of players won't drop very much in a few seasons and players trained for 3-4 seasons won't worth more than 10 000 euros. Third question is related... you seem to go by % training... so age doesn't matter anymore and all will improve equally? No. Age will matter. The system will first calculate how much training the players will recieve. If two players will recieve 100% this doesn't mean they will recieve the same amount. They will recieve the maximum posible improvement for their age. Also, trainer will give a bonus.

In my opinion it is nonsense that other 7 players played a match other than 8 trained players get also a lot less training than 8 players. I'll explain with an example from real life. During the training sessions players learn more about the skill they train and make drills, exercises. If you attend the training session when you will play a match you will know how to use that skill and improve your technique. But if you didn't attent the training sessions it would be very hard to improve your skills. Another reason I won't do this is that, as chewie said, it makes things to complex.

in a few seasons and players trained for 3-4 seasons won't worth more than 10 000 euros.
this isn`t quite a good news...there are players now bought with more than 200k, i`ve got one myself for 300k and still training 12 in the second squad if i get like 100 000 for them , i`d rather sell then pay them huge weekly wages this won`t encourage the training at all..nobody won`t transferlist for such a few
